Preparations for the first design meeting of EU MODEX in Ireland

The preparations for the first design meeting in Ireland are in the final phase. On Monday and Tuesday next week, the experts from the EU MODEX Lot 4 consortium will meet in Dublin with our friends from Ireland to discuss the setup of the upcoming exercise in March 2025.

The host for this exercise is the Wicklow County Council. Wicklow County Council Fire Service is part of Wicklow County Council. It provides an emergency response to a wide range of fire and rescue incident types throughout County Wicklow and has a history in fighting wildfires in the last years. Based upon these experiences, we will develop a scenario similar to the wildfires in south-west Ireland in 2021.
