Review from our EU HNS TTX pre-exercise meeting this week in Amman, Jordan. Careful preparation is one of the most important cornerstones of a successful job. This applies in particular to our EU HNS table-top exercise in Jordan in 21. – 23. November.
This EU HNS exercise series is carried out for the European Union, Directorate General ECHO, and is funded by DG ECHO.
The intense and very detailed planning with the officers of our partner Jordan Civil Defence (exactly: Public Security Directorate, Civil Defence Directorate, The Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan) could be successfully finalised, here are some impressions…

Pre-exercise planning meeting in Amman, Jordan

Amman, Jordan: today I will participate in the first day of our PEM (pre-exercise planning meeting) for our Host Nation Support exercise in November. Together with the experts of our national partner, the Public Security Directorate, Civil Defense Directorate, we will discuss and decide on the following topics:
• Presentation of the exercise schedule, venues, exercise team, EXCON, scenario, scope, methodology, role players, other organisations involved, etc.,
• Presentation by the consortium to introduce the overall exercise objectives and how they will be achieved, as well as the evaluation methodology,
• Finalise the exercise schedule, events injects and expected outcomes.
